For me (an adult male), the balaclava had to be stretched to its limit to fit over my head. Because the item was stretched so tautly around my head, any adjustment (like putting the face mask in place) caused the cowl part around the neck and shoulders area to crumple upward, so that those areas no longer lay flat against my neck/shoulders. The drawstrings around the face were useless, as the fit was so tight, the face opening could not be made any smaller.
I think this product would be great for children. Possibly, women would find it comfortable to wear, but I don't think this is a product for most adult males. It's just too small.
