This bag has seen a trip to Egypt and a use in everyday life. I have stuffed the bag full at times and weighted it down with things like 2 cells phone etc. I have as of yet to see any issues with breakage or tearing. The bag has held together for over a year now. No rips, nor any tears and no separation of the strap from the body of the bag. The metal clasps are still in great condition and working well. I also love the fact that I can close and lock those clasps and the contents in the pockets are safe from theft. Great idea on that one Travel On. The slash resistant shoulder strap is secure with and has kept it's shape.
As for the inside of the bag itself, I find it roomy. It holds a folded fan, phone (sometimes 2 phones), wallet, sunglasses and glasses (in their cases). Items in the front pocket, inside pockets (all 3) and the back outside pocket and it still feels well balanced and light weight.
I have seen in other reviews that some bags have torn or were slashed. I have not experienced that with my bag at the time of this review. I would definitely recommend this bag for travel and everyday use (especially if you live in an urban area). For myself, if I could add one thing to it, it would be an additional .5 inch (3 inches instead of 2.5) on the width it would be perfect!
I haven't found another wallet that has the features that I want as well as having the same capacity while staying as slim and convenient as this.
I personally didn't care for the eyes being separated... So I clipped the connecting thread, and now they go over my glasses perfectly.!
Noticed they have gone up about $8 since I bought them, so beware pricing may change.
Even if they have gone up, they are still less than half the price of comparable Smartwool. I also wear Smartwool, which have to me a finer quality wool material, little smoother feeling on the skin. That is barely noticeable for me, but compare for yourself.
One difference is Smartwool says you can dry in the dryer, these say to air dry. Now I just air dry all my wool socks, no big deal.
Would definitely buy these again.
