Meaning the chain is made in such a way that each tiny link catches and reflects light in so many angles that the chain itself looks as if it's glowing. It looks like it had been made by elves of a popular movie involving hobbits and a ring. I also got an email from a person from this company personally asking me if I like their product and if I didn't like it to contact him personally by email. I also received instructions on how to best care for the silver, and received earring backs free of charge. I'm extremely critical of quality when it comes to my wife's jewelry because she has sensitive skin, this necklace is one of my wife's favorites because it's so stunning. I will be buying from this company again. I've even tried to find something that I even slightly don't like about any part of it and am irritated that there is nothing I can find fault with. I value honest reviews, and high quality craftsmanship. I don't have time for anything else. You will love this and so will the recipient. I will buy from this company again.
